Have you thought about bringing some of your workshops/seminars to Vancouver Island ? I know there are a lot of people here who would love to attend your coursing, if only they didn’t have to face the dreaded ferry ride and consequent expenses. My municipality is shy of expending the extra per diems for food, travel & accommodations. Saanich councillor says they don’t have enough money in the Arts, Culture & Heritage budget to cover these expenses. They expect their volunteers to pay for out-of-pocket costs related to ongoing training and education.
